This Guys make music like no other band.

Since pandemic (2021) they have made between albums, singles and EP 55 work of art's

The same goes to Midnight Darkwave they have made 20 masterpieces since 2024

Quite impressive!

carlmcoy, well, as far as I know, the guy there has been making music since the 90s, maybe he still releases some of his old work.
but as for Midnight Darkwave, I have a suspicion that they used AI to create songs, that could explain the number of workssmiley

carlmcoy, of course, even if Midnight Darkwave uses AI to create songs, it's not that bad. Compared to other AI music projects, they sound normal, it's quite listenable. In general, I come across such releases that it feels like each song was created with just one request to the AI - "write me a song about..."laughing, and without any editing or individual approach. And over time, such releases come across more and more often (now, probably, about a quarter of the new releases that I watch on Bandcamp are generated with the help of AI and sounds crap). There are also cases when the band played their own music and suddenly switched to generation - as for me, it's pretty strange and I don't understand why they do this... In such cases, there is definitely zero creativity...

In general, as a musician, I would not use AI to write songs and I think it is better to have some "defects" in the performance or a feeling of insufficient experience, but it will be a truly personal expression. Not to mention the creation process itself, when you select instruments, notes, effects, etc. and get finished music as a result - it's a thrillrelaxed
But as a listener - I am fine with AI creativity, there are quite decent songs, and also get pleasure from listening to themsmiley
