Steve Von Till - As The Crow Flies (2000)

Wow, DS!  Today's albums curation took an exceptionally eclectic route!  Well done!

gweilojake, ha, that's true! I sometimes notice that there are days when a specific style of music dominates, which I would say is canonically associated with the dark scene. Then there are days when something so diverse prevails that it's hard to fit it into certain categories 😊 It's as if artists from specific styles have conspired about when to release their albums 😁

By the way, regarding Steve Von Till, I also want to highlight this artist. Although it's the first time I've heard this project of his, I liked it right away. It’s not quite "dark" folk, it probably has some elements of country and americana (besides the classics), but it sounds atmospheric and somewhat velvety.
(He is also involved in the project Harvestman, which features folk with a psychedelic twist)
