1) a doom/sludge band from Portland, OR, United States
2) an Osaka-based experimental guitarist whose real name is Shinji Masuko, but uses Moan as a moniker. Masuko is the founder of Japanese psych band DMBQ and guitarist/luthier for The Boredoms. His creative contributions to The Boredoms extends far beyond the guitar, including the design and production of their notorious seven-necked guitars (Sevena
