Black Light Ascension

Black Light Ascension is the new project of Andrew Trail, of Knifeladder. It shows a return to an electronic, song based approach as were present in his earlier bands Ministry Of Love, Psychonaut and Autogeddon. Using the most minimal of hardware drum machine/sequencers, hand played bass "guntar" and manual samplers, it is at times unreservedly 'retro'.The content veers between noir like morality and conspiracy stories and biblical, technological and apocalyptic visions.
