Sortaja is a Finnish rhythmic noise / tbm / tribal industrial project formed in Hyvinkää, Finland in 2011. The project was formed by Markus K. when he started to have some rhythmic noise tracks ready but didn't feel like putting those tracks under his other band names.
The project turned into a three member band with a vocalist and a guitarist in 2016 before their debut gig in Lumous Gothic Festival, a Finnish indoor gothic festival.
