The Arch

About 1987 a lot of things were happening in Belgian music. In Brussels an electronic scene was developping (with bands as Pseudo Code, Digital Dance and others), in Leuven Ludo Camberlin (now co-producer of Praga Khan and Lords of Acid) started his own label Anything but Records and created opportunities for bands who tried something new (amongst them Neon Judgement, Poesie Noire, Men 2nd, Aimless Device and others). In Beveren, Dirk Ivens (ex-The Klinik, now Sonar, Dive and labelmanager of Daft-Records) started Body Records, and in a small village, called Breendonk a group of young people also tried a new direction with a combination of samples, synths and guitars.
