Hadewych

Avant-garde / ritual band from The Netherlands founded by multi-instrumentalist and composer Nÿland ii in 2003, with one full-length (2009) and an EP (2014) out on Tuchtunie and a C18 cassette (2014) on Black Horizons. Aside from Nijland the band currently consists of Hodiamont, Jongen, Lucia M and percussionist Scramasax.
Until recently the sound of Hadewych meandered somewhere between neofolk, black metal ambience and ritual or even slightly industrial tendencies - the latter mainly though their use of prepared piano and percussion.
