A solo project, started in 2012 by Christopher Gurney, IIOIOIOII takes on lush soundscapes and heavy melodic elements and combines them with hard hitting beats and distorted industrial sounds.
Inspired by groups like Skinny Puppy, Depeche Mode, and Nine Inch Nails, IIOIOIOII combines the influences to create a new sound that pays homage to the Industrial music of the late 1980s and early 1990s.
