Rain Diary was formed In Helsinki/Tampere. (2006) First Rain Diary’s music was mostly based on acoustic verses, but quickly took a more electronic direction, and is currently evolving into dark wave and industrial flavoured landscapes.
In autumn 2008, the band released its debut EP, Rain Diary, which was quickly sold out and became an underground favourite in semi-gothic circles. The director Juha Lankinen (Sara, Jonna Tervomaa, Emmi, etc.) shot a music video for the song ‘It’s Only Rain’.
