Rottinghouse

Rottinghouse is Detroit-born dark wave. A multimedia collaboration between Jaye Thomas (Rogue Satellites) and Courtney Spivak (Ex American). Electronic beats pulse and thump beneath a minimalist wall of analog synths. Thorny lyrics weave dark, emotive satires on the icy surface. The songs are accompanied by visuals that frame the music somewhere between nightmare and nostalgia. The result finds a suitable if unlikely home on the austere streets of a long riot-scarred Detroit.
