Szymon Wydra & Carpe Diem - Polish rock, pop-rock and pop band. It was founded in 1992 in Radom by singer Szymon Wydra.
In 1992-2000, the band performed at numerous regional and national festivals and reviews, winning prizes and awards there. In 2000, the critics of Gazeta Wyborcza ranked the band among the twenty most promising performers on the Polish music scene.
A turning point in Szymon Wydra's career was his participation in the first edition of the Idol program in 2002, where he took third place.
