Moonlit Idols are a Leeds-based post-punk trio blending shadowy soundscapes with raw emotional intensity. Formed in the backroom of a record store where all three members once worked, the band draws sonic inspiration from early post-punk pioneers like The Cure, Sisters of Mercy, and Bauhaus, as well as modern revivalists White Lies, Editors, and Interpol.
The idea for the band sparked when Eli Harker, a quiet poet and obsessive crate-digger, began sharing his writing with co-worker Lauren Ashdown
