Toylets were a gothic-influenced post-punk band based in the town of Joure, The Netherlands.
Fronted by Schoonebeek-born singer, guitarist and songwriter, Paul Dokter (1961-2020), the band was founded in 1980 as The Toilets, or Toilets (both versions of the name would appear on a single sleeve). They released two singles for the Top Hole record label under that name, then decided to change the name of the band.
